In Brazil this species occurs in the states of Acre , Alagoas , Amazonas, Amapá , Bahia , Espírito Santo , Goiás , Minas Gerais , Mato Grosso , Pará, Piauí , Pernambuco , Rio de Janeiro , Roraima , and Rondônia ( Reis et al. 2007 ). Habitat. R. naso is a species associated with water courses and lakes in lowland regions (up to 900 m ) ( Jones & Hood 1993 ). It can live in colonies with up to 80 individuals ( Reis et al. 2007 ). The only individual collected by us was captured by mist net on the right edge of the São Domingo River ( 12° 54’ 50.8” S47° 34’ 0.7” W ), in Paranã , TO. Voucher specimen. One adult female – CHUNB 1242.
