( Fagaceae ) Montferrier-sur-Lez, Cirad de Baillarguet, France ( 43°40’58.0”N , 3°52’24.0”E ) on 11/09/2017 , 5 females from Palermo, laboratory breedings originated from 4 females collected on Vitis vinifera L. ( Vitaceae ) at Alcamo (Trapani, Italy ) ( 37°56’ 6.9”N , 13°01’25.3”E ) on 22/06/2017 . Known distribution. Measurements ( 3 females ) Dorsum . Dorsal shield 339 (325–353) long, 177 (168–185) wide at level of s4 , 193 (187–198) wide at level of S2 and 186 (181–197) at level of setae S4 . slightly reticulated especially in the central and opisthonotal part, with four pairs of solenostomes ( gd2 , gd6 , gd8 , gd9 ); poroids and sigilla clearly visible; 17 pairs of dorsal setae and two pairs of sub-lateral setae: j1 21 (20–22); j3 26 (25–27); j4 16 (15–17); j5 14 (14–15); j6 18 (17–19); J2 20; J5 7; z2 16 (15–17); z3 20 (17–22); z4 19 (17–20); z5 16 (16–17); Z4 44 (42–45); Z5 66 (60–75); s4 26 (25–27); s6 31 (30–32); S2 37 (36–38); S4 39 (37–40); r3 26 (25–27); R1 23 (22–25). All setae smooth, except Z4 and Z5 slightly serrated. Peritreme extending forwards to level of the bases of setae j1 . Ventral idiosoma . Sternal shield slightly sclerotised, smooth with margins often indistinct. Two pairs of setae ( st1 , st2 ) and poroids ( iv1 , iv2 ) are present on the sternal shield. Distances between setae st1–st1 55 (52–57), st2–st2 61 (54–65) st1–st2 39 (38–40). Setae st3 and st4 , and poroids iv3 tylochorous. Genital shield smooth with a clear restriction posteriorly to the bases of the setae st5 , at the extremity of the genital sigilla (1–3 pairs). Posterior margin of the genital shield straight. The 4 th and 5 th pairs of genital sigilla, filiform sometimes visible. The 6 th pair of sigilla ( sgpa ) oval posterior or postero-paraxial to the setae ZV1 . Ventrianal shield sub-pentagonal, slightly striated with the anterior margin convex and a constriction at the level of setae JV3 . Four pairs of pre-anal setae, JV1 , JV2 , JV3 and ZV2 on the ventrianal shield. Ventrianal shield 123 (113–131) long, 96 (88–104) wide at level of setae ZV2 , 92 (87–99) at level of setae JV2 , 90 (87–95) at level of setae JV3 and 78 (74–85) at level of para-anal setae. Solenostomes gv3 absent. Setae JV5 53 (48–58) long. Chelicera . Fixed digit 30 (27–32) long with two subapical teeth and the pilus dentilis ; movable digit 29 (28–31) long, unidentate. Legs . Genu II with seven setae, 2 2/0 2/0 1; Legs IV with a bulbous-tip macroseta on the basitarsus, StIV 40 (38–43) long. Insemination apparatus . Major duct narrow and short.Atrium at the basis of the calyx separated from it, lightly bulbous. Embolus and minor duct visible. Calyx U-shaped, thick-walled, 15 (13–16) long and 7 (6–9) wide.
