Description.
Vertex conically produced, middle length longer than distance between eyes. Pronotum broad, with anterior margin roundly produced and posterior margin slightly concave. Scutellum approximately triangular, middle length as long as pronotum; coronal suture short and distinct. Forewing semitransparent, hind margin of brochosome field with oblique black brown or brown stripe, apical margin broadly bordered with brown area, third apical cell long and narrow, often with a distinct dark spot.
Abdominal apodemes well-developed.
Male pygofer with fingerlike process dorsally; macrosetae, if present, on lateral or ventral margin of pygofer. Subgenital plates with one macroseta in basal part, apical part curved gradually dorsad, with one or two short lobes. Paramere slim and long, with row of slim setae on outer margin and row of sensory pits on inner margin, apical part handle-liked and slightly curved. Connective broad and including manubrium. Aedeagus with developed dorsoatrium, apical part of shaft with a pair of branch-liked processes.
