is an endemic genus from 
<collectingCountry id="18CFC684D115FFA79237B1CDFD0AFB28" box="[617,759,1191,1217]" name="Madagascar" pageId="5" pageNumber="171">Madagascar</collectingCountry>
described by Distant in 1908. It was revised by Soulier-Perkins &amp; Kunz in 2012. A synthesis based on their descriptions of this genus is presented below:
</paragraph>
<paragraph id="60678614D115FFA790E3B066FCE7FA5A" blockId="5.[189,1399,1291,1459]" pageId="5" pageNumber="171">HEAD. Head as wide as long between eyes, anterior margin with carina. Median part of vertex strongly curved, flattened vertically on lower part to form triangle just above delimitation of postclypeus. Ocelli close to each other and separated by small carina. Postclypeus convex, striated laterally with triangular dimple just below frons-postclypeus suture. Middle part of postclypeus can be strongly marked or not by sulciform furrow. Rostrum reaching mesocoxae.</paragraph>

Anterior margin of pronotum straight or slightly rounded, three small concavities present on each side along anterior margin. Scutellum a bit longer than wide. Hindlegs with one spine on metatibiae.</paragraph>
