Diagnosis.
Males differ from those of other
Phlogiellus
species, except
P. moniqueverdezae
, in possessing long white setae dorsally on tibiae and metatarsi I and II (Fig. 1a) and from the latter species in the absence of a maxillary lyra and embolus process (Figs 3b, 5). Females differ from those of
P. moniqueverdezae
in the less swollen tip of the spermathecae and the narrower spermathecal groove (Fig. 9).
