Distribution. – West Malaysia (coll. Hendrich), Indonesia [ Sumatra , Siberut, Nias, Java , Sulawesi ] ( Biström, 1996 ) and Singapore (Balke et al., 1999). Ecology. – In Singapore , all records are from shallow, open or semi-shaded waterbodies in a primary freshwater swamp. The habitat is rich in rotten leaves and dense submerged vegetation.
