Ground color pale yellow to orange with several dark-brown irregular blotches as well as fins ( Graça, Pavanelli, 2007 ). Maximum standard length. 285.0 mm ( Graça, Pavanelli, 2007 ). Distribution. Widespread in South America rivers.
