The record of the species from East Nepal (JEDLIČKA & CHÛJÔ 1966: 537) is based, without doubt, on a misidentification. D i s t r i b u t i o n i n M i d d l e E a s t: So far recorded from Afghanistan ( JEDLIČKA 1955: 191 , MANDL 1967: 463 , JEDLIČKA 1967: 73 , KATAEV 1996: 128 ) and Iran ( JAEGER 1992: 224 partim, 1999: 958, KATAEV 1996: 128 ). The record from SW Iran , Khuzestan prov. ( JEDLIČKA 1961: 4 ) refers most likely to A. jaegeri KATAEV.
