Description. Wingspan

. Antennaefiliform, ciliate withsetae. Twosetaeoneachsegment; longestonestwicelongerthediameterofflagellum. Ciliationdense; ciliaaslongasthediameterofflagellum. Labialpalpslong, fivetimes longerthediameterofeye; 3rdsegmentrelativelylong, itstiplight; dorsalscalesof 2nd segmentrelativelyshort, dorsaledgeconvex. Scale-hoodofvertexbroad-based, medium long, rounded. Characteristicwingpatternfeatures: costaofforewingnotconcave; shape offorewingunusuallybroad; groundcolourdarkgreywithslightbrownishshade (the specimenisworn); terminallineverystrong, blackish; transverselineshardlyvisibleexceptforthebroad, blackishpostmediallinebeingslightlysinuousandbentinwardsbelowcell; reniformstigmalightyellow, narrow, angular, withnarrowdarkedgeandsome blackishscalesatbottomsection; orbicularstigmatiny, hardlyvisible, composedbyonlya fewlightyellowscales. Colourationandpatternofhindwingsimilartothoseofforewing.
Malegenitalia (

). Uncusrelativelylong, straight, withconvexdorsaledgeand hookedtip. Tegumenaslongasvinculum. Saccusbroad-based, long, graduallytapering, itstiprounded. Juxtalarge, rhomboidal, broaderthanlong. Valvalong, mediumwide, slightlytapering; asmallcostallobepresentintheapicalquarterofvalva. Sacculusnarrow, elongate, halfaslongasvalva. Distalthirdofvalvacomposedbythestronglysclerotised fusionofcosta, harpeandcucullus; thissectionbeingtapering, veryslightlycurveddorsally, itstiprounded. Aedeaguselongate, evenlywide, slightlycurved; vesica (uneverted) withlarge, straightcornutus.

Etymology. Thespecieshasremainedlongbeenhiddenduetotheexternalsimilarity to
N. blepharota
. Thespecificnameisrememberingtothisfact.
