Righiodrilus tico Righi, 1982 Diagnosis ( Celis et al. , 2018 , based on Zicsi 1995 ). Eight rows of closely paired setae or occasionally widely paired setae, arranged in regular series. One pair of intraclitellar male pores. Paired female pores, rarely unpaired. One pair of calciferous glands in segment 11 or 12 with composite tubular structure and translucent membrane additional to the structure, which extends over two or three segments. Two or three pairs of lateral hearts in segments 7–9 and two pairs of intestinal hearts in segments 10, 11. Metandric genital apparatus with seminal vesicles occupying one or more segments. Spermathecae present, rarely absent, usually without seminal chambers or diverticula. The genus is located in the Glossoscolecidae family due to the presence of a single pair of dorsal calciferous glands in 11 or 12.
