Diagnosis (Female) — All dorsal setae, long, lanceolate, serrate, setae
f2
present; dorsum reticulated mediolaterally, reticulations transverse medially (

); tarsus II with one solenidion distally; rostrum reaching to distal margin of genu I, palp tibia with 2 setae; spermatheca terminating in a round bulb (
Fig 13B
).
Deutonymph — Dorsal setae long and serrate, except for setae
v2, sc1, c1-2, d1, e1
and
h1
which are clearly shorter (
Fig 13C
).
Hosts and localities — This species was described from
Pinus halepensis
Miller
and
P.
brutia
Ten (
Pinaceae
), in
Israel
at Mount Carmel and En Zetim, respectively. In
Italy
it was collected from
P. pinaster
Eiton, Mount Lu Pinu (
Castagnoli, 1987
)
.
