Diagnosis.
The male is similar to those of
P. turneri
and
P. africana
in having a row of several (up to 20), erect bristles on the posterior margin of S4 and a hairy, doso–lateral projection on the gonostylus. The male of
P. natalensis
is characterised by a row of about 20 bristles on the posterior margin of S4, of which the lateral ones are greatly enlarged. The female is unknown.

). Integument black except mandibles, malar area, clypeus, paraocular area and supraclypeal area partly reddish-brown. Clypeus, supraclypeal area, paraocular area and vertex covered with erect, brown and pallid brownish hairs. Mandibles simple. Antennae reddish-brown. Flagellomeres of normal structure (not knotty). A4 as long as A3.
