Diagnosis:
General coloration dark yellowish brown. Metope, most of pronotum and scutellum excluding lateral parts brownish yellow. Fore and middle coxae black. Femora and tibiae with dark brown spots. Teeth and socle setae with black apices. Claws brown or dark brown. Gonoplacs black.
Body length.
9.3 mm.
Etymology:
The species name is derived from the surname of the Russian scientist Dr. Yuriy Knorozov whose research played a pivotal role in the decipherment of Mayan script.
