Diagnosis.
A medium to large species (
5.7–7.3 mm
), generally with clear wings. Mesonotum and tergites metallic green. Apical aristal segment quite thick and short, only half as long as basal aristal segment. Male with cerci longer than surstyli and thus the tips are visible outside the surstyli.

Remarks.
The pedicel is yellowish-brown in females and black in males in southern
Thailand
. The pedicel is always black in both sexes in
