This species was described from both sexes from Nigeria and has not since been recorded. Since the surstylus of the Maraba specimen differs somewhat in shape and chaetotaxy from that of the holotype ( Deeming, 1979: 32 , Fig. 4 ) it is figured here ( Fig. 44 ) in profile. Dike (1990: 301 , Fig. 12 )) figured the surstylus of the holotype from beneath, which figure aids understanding of its structure.
