Notaris mandschurica
was described from Harbin (
Voss 1940
). The study of materials from Siberia and the Far East showed that these specimens belong to
Notaris scirpi
, but the differences in the coarsely punctate metanepisternum, the scales near the metanepisternum are rarer, and the pronotum usually more coarsely sculptured allow preserving the status of a subspecies.
