Remarks.
Godoy (1970: 275)
mentioned in his methodology that the description was performed based on “(...) the type and
paratypes
(...)”, meaning that the name-bearing “type” is a single specimen (
i.e.
, the
holotype
). However,
holotype
and
paratypes
were included in the same lot,
viz
. EEBP 706 (
Godoy 1970
). Fortunately, the
holotype
was placed in a small flask within the jar, along with a label that reads “
typus
” (
Figure S8
). In addition, the same label informs that the specimen was partially dissected (
Figure 2
).
