Notes. The taxonomy of the South African species belonging to the Areneidae is confused as a result of the lumping of species under a broadly interpreted Cinysca dunkeri . They are currently being revised by Bruce Marshall , based on a manuscript by James H. McLean, and substantial changes are to be expected.
