Length of mesosoma 1.45 × as long as high (77: 53); propleuron smooth; mesopleuron largely smooth; precoxal sulcus shallow, coriaceous; metapleuron rugo-punctate; mesoscutum largely smooth with sparse fine punctures; notauli deep and sparsely crenulate anteriorly, with a median depression posteriorly between notauli ( Fig. 40 ); scutellar sulcus 0.6 × as long as scutellum (7: 12) with one carina; scutellum smooth; propodeum with median depression, crenulate medially, sparsely punctate laterally ( Figs 43, 46 ). Fore wing. Pterostigma 5.4 × as long as wide (54: 10); vein M+CU1 weakly curved on distal half; vein 1-M moderately strongly curved posteriorly; vein r arising far before middle of pterostigma; vein cu-a postfurcal, reclivious ( Fig. 44 ); 2-CU1 6.8 × longer than 1-CU1; SR1: 3-SR: r = 48: 34: 11; vein 2-SR 6.7 × 2-SR+M (20: 3); 1-CU1: cu-a: 2-CU1: 3-CU1 = 5: 8: 34: 8; basal length of second submarginal cell 3.35 × as long as its apical width (47: 14). Hind wing . Hind coxa shiny smooth; femur: tibia: basitarsus: tarsus 1–5 = 62: 84: 48: 107; length of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 6.9, 10.5 and 12.0 × as long as their width respectively; middle tibial spur curved and setose basally; apex of hind tibia with comb of specialized setae at inner side. Metasoma. First tergite 1.6 × as long as apical width (55: 34) ( Fig. 47 ); first tergite with basal short median carina becoming sinuate rugosity posteriorly, surface of first tergite rugulose contrast to 2 nd tergite with sparse striae ( Fig. 47 ); 2 nd metasomal tergite with indistinct midbasal triangular area, 0.9 × its apical width (40: 46); medial length of 2 nd tergite 1.1 × its basal width (40: 35), and 1.1 × than 3 rd (40: 35); 2 nd metasomal tergite 0.9 × wider than medially long (35: 40), sparsely longitudinally striate with approximately 8 striae lateral to midlongitudinal; 3 rd metasomal tergite 0.7 × its basal width (35: 48) ( Fig. 47 ); third-fourth tergites densely striate, except extremely apex punctate; fifth-sixth tergites sparsely finely punctate; hypopygium weakly convex, sparsely setose ( Fig. 41 ); subapical ventral margin of ovipositor constricted, with three ventral teeth before the ventral constriction ( Fig. 41 ). Coloration. Body yellow; stemmaticum black; frons, median and lateral lobes of mesoscutum yellowish brown; wings yellow; pterostigma yellowish brown medially, pale yellow basally and apically ( Fig. 44 ); membrane of fore wing smoky apically. Male . ( Paratype ) ( Fig. 48 ): Body length 6.3 mm , fore wing length 5.1 mm ; 3 rd segment of maxillary palp 1.85 × longer than maximally wide (13: 7); 5 th segment as long as 6 th segment (10: 10) ( Fig. 52 ); width of face: height of eye = 1.7: 2.6; fore wing vein 2-SR 5.0 × 2-SR+M (15: 3) ( Fig. 53 ); basal length of second submarginal cell 3.45 × as long as its apical width (38: 11) ( Fig. 53 ); vein 2-SC+ R of hind wing subquadrate ( Fig. 54 ). Etymology. From “neuter” (Latin for ‘neither one nor the other’), because this new species is close to Colastomion cephonodes , sp. n. , differences between these two new species are given in the key. Biology .
