Type locality: Cameroon , Lolodorf . Imago (Fig. 49): Wingspan 15–18mm . Head whitish; labial palpus segment 3 white, of equal length to segment 2 which is fulvous basally. Thorax brownish yellow, tegulae whitish. Forewing ground colour white; basal half of costa brown; an oblique brown subbasal fascia; a broad yellow fascia from middle of dorsum not reaching costa but curved to termen; a greyish blotch on dorsum beyond halfway; two white costal strigulae edged fuscous, separated by yellowish brown; a silver grey tornal spot; termen yellow edged with a series of black dots; cilia fuscous. Hindwing base white with an obscure fuscous fascia; a broad yellow antemedian fascia, followed by a white zone with fuscous scales near edges; two parallel fuscous subterminal lines; four black terminal eyespots, 1 small, each with a silver blue spot on the inner side, above each eyespot is a dark fuscous crescent, silver grey beyond eyespot 4, cilia pale fuscous. Legs whitish. Abdomen pale ochreous grey. Male genitalia (Fig. 110): Uncus evenly tapered to a blunt apex; gnathos 5/6 uncus, digitate with several spines around apex; valva sides parallel, specialised seta arising from middle of terminal area of valva bearing a broad flat spade-shaped termen; juxta broad and short; aedeagus fairly wide then narrowed towards apex where is is clothed with fine spines. Female genitalia (Fig. 161): ostium very wide, antrum long, gradually narrowing, sclerotised wrinkles near colliculum; corpus bursae slightly longer than antrum, a sclerotised plate at anterior end bearing a row of spines, one large spine is separate, posterior half of corpus bursae with sclerotised ridges in a herringbone pattern. Tympanal organs: Venulae long and widely separated, very slightly closer together posteriorly. Biology: Unknown, adults taken in iii, xii, Distribution: Congo , Cameroon , Sierra Leone .
