Confined to the provinces adjoining Iraq ( West Azerbaijan , East Azerbaijan , Kordestan , Kermanshah , Ilam Prov. ) . HABITAT. Vertical rock walls and rocky outcrops. Anderson (1999) observed this species in a narrow gorge with steep, loose, rocky slopes with overgrazed steppe vegetation with Crataegus , Juglans , Olea , and Pistacia trees. REMARKS. All Iranian populations are attributed to A. c. urmiana Lantz & Suchow (for map of the distribution of all A. cappadocica subspecies see Kapli et al. (2013)) . REFERENCES.
