Holotype.
PORTUGAL, Estremadura: Pinhal do Rei, 8 Jan. 1991, G. Almeida, F. Estrella, F.D. Calonge (LISU-MGA 8!)*.
The species was invalidly published by
Calonge and Almeida (1992)
and later validated by
Calonge (2000)
. ITS sequence data confirm it as a distinct species (Figure 1b).
Habitat and distribution.
Recorded only from sand dunes in Portugal.
