Records from other habitats:
This species, widespread over the archipelago, lives in the intertidal area and in the lower part of the supralittoral zone of the rocky coast. It is to be found on the rock surface or in micro-fissures, but also on rocks covered by a dense growth of algae or chthamalids from Bermuda islands (
Fain & Schuster 1983
).
