Records from
Myanmar
:
Puepoli (
900–
1,000 m
); Bia-Po (
1,000–1,200 m
) (
Pocock 1895
). Based on an indefinite number of
syntypes
, likely all males (
Pocock 1895
;
Jeekel 1965a
).
Hoffman (1963b)
designated the only male from Puepoli, in the London Museum, as
lectotype
and depicted its gonopod structure.
Jeekel (1965a)
fully redescribed the species from the sole male
paralectotype
from Bia-Po, in the Genoa Museum and found out that one more male
paralectotype
from Bia-Po had been sent on loan from Genoa to Silvestri for revision. The Silvestri Collection is currently incorporated into that of the Genoa Museum.
Remark.
This is the type-species of the genus
Tetracentrosternus
.
