TYPE LOCALITY: “ in agro Parmensi [ Parmese territory ( Italy )]” . TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂ , syntype (in poor condition, very dirty, missing antennae, left wing and abdomen) ( MZUF : Box 65): Gen. Angelinia Rnd. / gybba [ sic !] mihi, An 26 [illegible words] / 3354 . CURRENT STATUS: valid species, as Planetella gibbosa ( Skuhravá 1986: 282 , Dahl et al. 1995: 30 , Gagné 2010: 328 , Gagné & Jaschhof 2017: 445 ). REMARKS: Rondani (1861a: 290) described Angelinia gibbosa without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens, but presumably from more than one specimen because he reported: “ non rarissima [not very rare]”. Gagné & Solinas (1996: 74) reported: “One male specimen (#3354) is present with a label reading “ gybba ” possibly an error for gibbosa ”. We found one syntype in this study.
