REMARKS: Rondani (1869a: 22) described Ceroxys pomariana , without specifying the number , the sex or the length of the specimens, from material he had collected and also received from F.M. Piccioli. Soós (1983: 259) designated a lectotype ( ♂ ) and paralectotypes ( 1 ♂ , 2 ♀♀ ).
