Diagnosis.
General color black. Head, scutellum, and hemelytra uniformly black; pronotum uniformly reddish except for black calli; membrane fuscous, with apex translucent or clear. Legs largely yellow, with the tibiae fuscous to black, except at bases. Length

Discussion.
Sysinas pallidipes
is very similar to
S. fulvicollis
Fabricius, 1803
, and, at one point, was considered a junior synonym of it (
Carvalho, 1951d
), but later was resurrected as a valid species (
Carvalho, 1955b
).
Ferreira
et al.
(2006)
presented the distribution of this species under the name
S. fulvipes
.
Sysinas fulvipes
is best distinguished from
S. pallidipes
by the yellowish pro- and mesotibiae and pale yellow lateral margins of the hemelytra.
