Male: medium size; marks on face well developed; propodeal TRN, OBL and lateral carinae indistinct, anterior portion of propodeal with transverse wrinkles; scape slightly turbinate broadened. Measurements : BL 6.11mm ; WL 4.64mm ; HL 1.55mm ; HW 1.65mm ; CI 1.32; SI 1.67. Coloration : Black. The following whitish: clypeus except anterior tentorial pit; well developed lateral face marks ending narrowly and rather acutely at eye margins beyond the level of upper margins of antennal sockets; lateral mark on scape; linear band marks on collar of pronotum; apical spots on tubercles (pronotal lobe); lateral mark on fore tibia, basal spot on middle tibia, basal half of hind tibia, all basitarsi; posterior portion of tegula. Underside of flagellum brown; base portion of tegula brown; mediotarsus and distitarsus yellowish brown; veins and stigma brown. Structure : Scape slightly turbinate broadened; face slightly shiny with fine to moderate punctures; clypeus transverse lineolate-reticulate, with shallow fine close punctures, lower portion slightly convex; paraocular area longitudinally lineolate-reticulate with dense punctures; lower portion of paraocular area punctures become sparse and indistinct; supraclypeal area moderately convex, with fine sparse puntures; frons with close punctures; punctures become larger and sparser along margins of eyes; facial fovea indistinct; gena slightly narrower than eye in lateral view, moderately shiny with fine and close to sparse punctures; pronotal collar roundly thickened, attenuated toward middle; mesoscutum moderately shiny with fine and sparse punctures; scutellum slightly convex, moderately shiny with larger and sparser punctures than those on mesoscutum; metanotum weakly convex and slightly shiny, with close punctures; mesopleuron moderately shiny with fine to moderate and dense to close punctures; propodeal TRN, OBL and lateral carinae indistinct, anterior portion of propodeal with transverse wrinkles, posterior portion with moderate and subcontiguous punctures; T1 transverse lineolate-reticulate, shiny with minute and scattered punctures,T2 and following terga with larger and closer punctures. Pilosity : Hairs on vertex yellow, dense and short; hairs on apical margin of clypeus yellow and very sparse; hairs on mesoscutum white and particularly short; hairs on lateral metanotum longer; hairs on mesopleuron white and sparse; pronotal collar and pronotal lobe with short dense yellow hairs; hairs on T1 extremely short and sparse, hairs on T 2 and T3 white, short and sparse. Terminalia : See Figs. 1–6 . Apical lobe of S7 reduced and without hairs. S8 more or less rhombiform, apical process slender. Type material. Type material deposited in the entomological museum of China Agricultural University, Beijing, China . Distribution.: South Korea Etymology. The specific name is dedicated to H.H. Dathe of Germany entomologist for his big contributions on systematics of the Hylaeus .
