Material examined.
COBERPES 2011, stn. B9, 1 ovigerous female; COBERPES 4 stn. B10, 1 ovigerous female.
Remarks.
The only two ovigerous females (CL 10.3-11.9 mm) were reported off Laguna Madre, Tamaulipas; and off Isla Holbox, Quintana Roo, in a 990-1040 m
depth
range. These findings represent the first record in the Gulf of Mexico (WNW and ESE). Also the lower bathymetric limit was extended 332 m from the previous 708 m reported by
Baba et al. (2008)
in the Caribbean.
