Diagnosis : A medium- to large-sized species of Paracypridea (carapace length between 1.4 and 1.5mm ), standing morphologically more or less between P. elegans and P. langdoni . Posterior margin of the (larger) right valve rounded off diagonally; posterior margin of the (smaller) left valve vertically truncated in the middle section, in the upper and lower sections reaching to the margin of the right valve or even protruding slightly beyond it. Holotype : Carapace, BfB 7791. Paratypes : Not deposited. Dimensions: Holotype , length 1.46mm , height 0.80mm , width 0.68mm .
