The species is characteriZed by a yellow scape and pedicel, a yellowish thorax, a long y without or with just 1–2 macrotrichia, a yellow hypopygium with a darkened gonostylus, gonocoxite with 2 long strong bristles, a gonostylus with 4 strong spines on dorsal side, a small intergonocoxal lobe with a few bristles, and a longer than broad tegmen. The species has been described from Papua New Guinea . It is a common species within wet forests. Distribution . Australia , Queensland ; Papua New Guinea . FIGURE 16. A.
