The 27 species listed in this genus are mainly from tropical countries, but seven described from North America, and a few from North Africa and the Mediterranean region. These species are all wingless ant-mimics, and mostly differ in the color of the basal antennal segments. The

, but is widespread in the Mediterranean area (

). One individual of this species has been recorded from
Iran

).
