The following two names were proposed based on female specimens and clearly belong to the
S. smaragdula
complex, as they are currently synonymized under
S. smaragdula
s. lat
. The
types
are known and in good shape, but because of their age, the study of molecular characters is assumedly impossible at this point. Males have not been associated with these names, thus their correct identity is uncertain. Until further studies clarify these problems, we have decided to consider both names as nomina dubia (see comments below).
