Distribution: North America.
Specimens examined: Eighty-six from 63 collection events; questionable female identifications: 30 from 15 collection events.
Flight period: Approximately 80% June through August.
Remarks: Specimens reared from
Altica corni
Woods
have 21–22 flagellomeres while those from
Altica ambiens alni
Harris
have 24–25 (n=9).
