The genus
Kikiki
Huber & Beardsley
is reported for the first time for the New World. A female of an undescribed species of this genus was captured at a roadside in the jungle in lowland mountains.
Kikiki
was previously known only from specimens from the Hawaiian Islands (
Huber & Beardsley 2000
) and
Australia
(
Lin
et al
. 2007
), where one male specimen was found in Western
Australia
(S.V. Triapitsyn unpublished data).
