( Figures 56–58 , 192–196 , 298 ) Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. punctata in dorsal color pattern, but can be distinguished from the latter as follows: pronotum is yellow with a rounded black middle spot, spot 2 close but not touch elytral suture ( Fig. 56 ), penis short ( Fig. 193 ) and penis guide 1.25x longer than parameres ( Fig. 194 ). In S. punctata , pronotum is black, spot 2 touches elytral suture ( Figs 59–61 ), penis long ( Fig. 198 ) and penis guide slightly longer than parameres ( Fig. 199 ). Description. TL: 2.24 mm , TW: 2.08 mm , TH: 1.19 mm , TL/TW: 1.08; PL/PW: 0.45; EL/EW: 0.84; HW/TW: 0.37; PW/TW: 0.60. Head yellow. Pronotum yellow with a rounded black middle spot. Scutellum yellowish brown. Elytra predominantly yellow, with brown band along basal and lateral margins, band expanded at apex of elytra, each elytron with 4 large black rounded spots disposed as follows: spot 1 resting on the humeral callus (not touching basal margin); spot 2 resting at 2/5 length of elytral suture (almost touching margin); spot 3 resting on disc slightly posterad of half length of elytron; spot 4 just before sutural apex ( Figs 56–58 ). Underside yellow. Body almost circular in outline, hemispherical, shiny and glabrous. Head frontal punctures fine and shallow, 1.0–1.5 diameters apart, with scattered short setae, interocular distance of eyes 0.61x head width ( Fig. 58 ). Pronotal punctures fine, 1.5–2.5 diameters apart. Elytral surface polished, punctures uniformly fine, similar to those on pronotum, 1.5–2.0 diameters apart. Elytral margins moderately wide, distinctly visible from above. Prosternal surface slightly shagreened, punctures inconspicuous, with scattered long setae. Mesoventral surface shiny, punctures medium, 0.5–1.5 diameters apart. Metaventrite shiny, covered by large and dense punctures distributed at center, 0.5–1.5 diameters apart. Elytral epipleuron broad, complete to apex, very feebly foveate to accommodate femoral tips of hind legs. Wings well-developed. Male genitalia: Penis short and slender, moderately curved at base, capsule inconspicuous, apex pointed ( Fig. 193 ); tegmen with penis guide in lateral view slender, widest at base, narrowing to apex, 1.25x parameres length ( Fig. 194 ); penis guide in ventral view widest at base, gradually narrowing to apex ( Fig. 195 ); parameres slender and straight, with sparse setae apically. Female genitalia: Ovipositor elongate and slender, styli inconspicuous, each with sparse long terminal setae ( Fig. 196 ).
