Diagnosis
. Fourteen pairs of gills with entire lamellae. Rostrum obtuse, rounded, shorter than lateral projections. Antennal flagella with long setae inserted ventrally. Third maxillipeds with basis-ischium short, without
crista dentata
. Chelipeds equal or the left larger than right, but with same ornamentation and corneous claw. Males with 4 unpaired pleopods (pl2–pl5), with external ramous long and strong, inner ramous reduced. In females, 4 pleopods with 2 well-developed rami; pl2–4 very robust, pl5 a little smaller.
