Holotype female, total length 3.50 mm . Cephalothorax length 1.25 mm , width 1.00 mm. Abdomen length 2.50 mm , width 1.15 mm . Carapace. Yellow except black eye margins, 1.25 x longer than wide. Cephalic width barely 0.43 x of thoracic width. Chelicerae yellow, longer than wide, each with a short fang. Promargin has eight teeth and retromargin has five teeth. Pedipalps yellow, long and slender with a claw. Maxillae glossy yellow, 1.25 x longer than wide, apical margins moderately broad and convex with brown serrula. Labium 1.25 x longer than wide, rebordered basal half dark yellow and triangular apical half light yellow. Sternum slightly convex, lined with yellow brown hairs, 1.23 x longer than wide. Eyes. In two strongly recurved and equally long rows. Eye diameter (mm): AME=PME ( 0.09 )> ALE=PLE ( 0.06 ). Eye separation (mm): AME-ALE = PME-PLE ( 0.11 )> ALE-PLE =PME-PME ( 0.09 )> AME-AME ( 0.06 ). MOQ almost squarish, equally long anterior and posterior widths slightly shorter than height ( 0.23 : 0.23 : 0.24 mm ). Legs. Yellow except light gray apices of tarsi I-IV, long and slender with long ventral spines. Femur I with 15-17 erect ventral bristles and six in femur II. Spination in femur I 0- 0-3 - 3 , II 0- 0-1 - 3 , III 1 -0-0-0 and IV 1 - 0-1 - 1 ; tibia I 0-7 -0-0, II 1-6 -0-0, III 1 - 0-1 - 1 and IV 2 - 0-2 - 2 ; metatarsus I 0- 0-1 - 1 , II 1 - 0-1 - 1 , III 1 -0- 0-1 and IV 1 -0- 0-1 . Leg formula 1243 . Abdomen. Green with yellowish lateral sides, red median longitudinal band on anterior half and four transverse reddish brown bands toward posterior tip and a white yellow spot on posterior tip. Red cardiac area elevated and ridge-like. Venter uniformly dull yellow including the slightly bulbous epigynal fold. Spinnerets all yellow located on posterior end of abdomen. Epigynal fold slightly bulbous, 1,12x wider than long, rounded towards opening, and occupies approximately apical one-third of ventral length of abdomen. MALE. Unknown. Material Examined. Holotype female (coll. no. Dan 2012 -02), CHINA , Hainan Island, Danzhou, 4 April 2012 , ATBarrion, JLACatindig and SCVillareal. Diagnostic Features. Closely resembles Tetragnatha laochenga Barrion, Barrion-Dupo & Heong , new species but differs from the latter in the following aspects, ( 1 ) presence of a red longitudinal band on the anterior and transverse bands on posterior ends of abdomen, ( 2 ) reddish and elevated cardiac area, ( 3 ) cheliceral dentation, ( 4 ) eye dimensions and separations, ( 5 ) position and shape of the epigynal fold, and ( 6 ) leg length and spination particularly in tibia I. Etymology. Derived from the combination of the unique red ("pula) longitudinal band ("banda") in the abdominal dorsum in Tagalog.
