Identification.
Forewing length 8.5–10.0 mm.
Hyperstrotia pervertens
is a light gray, nondescript moth. Forewing with white antemedial and postmedial lines (some specimens may have a thin black line associated with these white lines), reniform spot a small black dot, and outer margin with small dark gray elongate spots.
Hind
wing is light gray.
Flight period.
End of May to early September.
