However, all species except those from Venezuela and Trinidad are certainly or very likely misplaced ( Huber 2000: 344 ). Coryssocnemis is thus currently endemic to Venezuela (Coastal Ranges) and Trinidad . Judging from its known distribution (Fig. 1037), it is not likely to range into Guyana , Brazil , or Colombia . All five Venezuelan species are treated below.
