It should be stressed that the description and

fixation of
Pseudepitettix
was published by
Zheng (1995)
a year after the description of
P. guangxiensis
Zheng et Jiang, 1994
. The diagnosis of this genus, as well as a key to species, the descriptions and illustrations of all included species were given by
Zheng (2005)
.
Pseudepitettix
is closely related to
Epitettix
, but easy distinguished by the broad frontal ridge, the width of which near the base of antennae is 2.3–2.5 times more than width of 1st antennal segment (
Fig. 16
), while in
Epitettix
the width of this ridge only 1.5–1.8 times more than width of 1st antennal segment (
Fig. 3
).
