Type-species: Durgades nigropictus Distant , type by original designation. Diagnosis. Crown of head extremely short, posterior margin upturned in middle forming ridge; face wider than long. Ocelli closer to inner margins of adjacent eye than to each other. Forewing venation prominent with fine setae along veins. Male pygofer variable: either elongate, upturned, or truncate with spine-like processes or with marginal blade-like processes. Subgenital plates without macrosetae. Aedeagus symmetrical, aedeagal shaft and dorsal apodeme with processes. Distribution. China (Sichuan, Taiwan , Tibet), India , Nepal , Pakistan . Remarks. Viraktamath (2004 , 2010) reviewed the genus and dealt with ten species known from the sub-Himalayan region of India , Pakistan and Nepal .
