Europe, in the south only recorded from

Portugal
: one province in the north (Beira Litoral) and one in the south (Baixo Alentejo).
Ecology.
Nearly all of the Portuguese specimens were collected on the trunk of
Quercus suber
along a small stream running through a
Q. suber
montado, and one specimen on a chestnut tree trunk in dry mixed forest. Its habitat preference in Europe is poorly known, but also there it has been collected regularly on tree trunks.
