Ecology.
The only site in
Portugal
with this species can be described as a riparian corridor bordered by
Salix
sp.
that crosses mountain meadows; the mountains are covered by shrubland (with several heathers and brooms,
Cytisus
sp.
or
Genista
sp.
) and patches of
Quercus pyrenaica
forest. In northwestern Europe as well, it is restricted to oligotrophic fenland and humid heathland (
Pollet 2000
).
