Diagnosis.
Among those genera of the tribe
Tingini
with paranota completely reflexed to rest on pronotum and somewhat inflated,
Xynotingis
can be recognized by its elongated head with clypeus distinctly produced forwards and nearly reaching the apex of antennal segment I (
Fig. 2
), its rostrum very longer (extending to the third ventral sternum) and its hemelytra much broader, with the outer margins broadly rounded (
Figs. 1–4
).
