. Domínguez & Godoy,
sp. nov.
(
Figs. 17a–17e
)
Description.
Length:
5.4–6.3 mm
. Member of the
O. auronitens
group (
Fig. 1a
). Vertex strongly and angulately produced; median length slightly less than distance between eyes at posterior margin. Anterior margin with light band between ocelli, dark band anteriorly and posteriorly. White area behind marginal lines bordered posteriorly by brown line across median half of vertex; orange band across middle third of vertex, white bands along posterior margin separated by irregular brown line. Irregular brown lines on each side of anterior half of coronal suture. Pronotum orangish-yellow; anterior margin pale yellow, with orange spot in middle. Scutellum same color with large dark spot in basal angles, white spots at apex of basal angle and half way along lateral margins. Anterior wing transparent, yellowish, apices marked with dark brown; usually with brown spots along costa and commissural line; outer anteapical cell shorter than usual.
Male genitalia:
Pygofer sligthtly less than twice as long as greatest width, moderately projected posteriorly, tapered and rounded at apex; with long macrosetae dispersed along apical half of pygofer (
Fig. 17a
). Valve oval, wide, triangular in the middle. Plates long, apical portion quite wide, apex rounded and with plumose setae (
Fig. 17b
). Style with apophysis short, slightly curved, truncate and narrow on ventral side (
Fig. 17c
). Aedeagus in ventral view with base narrow and slightly triangular; shaft slightly shorter than ventral processes (
Fig. 17d
). Ventral processes parallel-sided and apressed for most of their length, apices narrow and slightly divergent. Shaft in lateral view curved dorsad, with blunt apex; dorsal projection short, very slender and curved caudad, rounded at tip. Gonopore apical. Ventral processes straight, apices pointed and curved ventrad (
Fig. 17e
).
Diagnosis.

O. anonae
in appearance, but in lateral view
O. seudopuniceus
has the aedeagus and ventral processes almost straight and elongate; in
O. anonae
they are curved.
