Discussion: This species was well defined in
Kelton’s (1978)
excellent paper on Canadian
Anthocoridae
. This species is closely related to
D. reuteri
and
unicolor
because of their left paramere of hammer-type, but differs from them by being almost straight, i. e. not so curved, and by their coloration (reddish-brown) and measurements.
