Holotype , female, China : Heilongjiang Province, Jingbo Lake, 43.52°N , 128.54°E . July 29, 2006 , from Rhamnus diamantiaca Nakai (Rhamnaceae) , coll. Xue, Xiao-Feng and Song, Zi-Wei. Paratypes , 10 females and 3 males , with the same data as holotype . Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed. Etymology. The specific designation diamantiacae is from the species name of the host plant, diamantiaca . Remarks. This species is similar to Tetra heilongjiangensis Kuang, 1995 , but can be differentiated by dorsal annuli with microtubercles (dorsal annuli smooth in T . heilongjiangensis ), median line present (median line absent in T . heilongjiangensis ), coxal area with granules (coxal area with short lines in T . heilongjiangensis ).
