Remarks. HeteromorphiC males have been reported for Cosmolaelaps vacua (MiChael, 1891) by GwiazdowiCz (2004) , C . cuneifer (MiChael, 1891) by wisniewski (1982) and C . michaeli (Huhta & Karg, 2010) by Khalili-Moghdam & Saboori (2015) . In C . vaccus and C . michaeli , the most distinCtive differenCe between homeomorphiC and heteromorphiC males is the prominent outgrowth in the ventrianal region of the holoventral shield of heteromorphiC males. Additionally, the heteromorphiC male of C . michaeli has leg IV distinCtly stronger than the others and with two spur-like ventral struCtures ( Khalili-Moghadam & Saboori, 2015 ), whereas the heteromorphiC male of C. vacuus has dorsal shield longer than the respeCtive homeomorphiC male ( GwiazdowiCz, 2004 ). In the C . guttulatus heteromorphiC male, the tarsus of leg IV is similar to the tarsi of the other legs and the dorsal shield of the homeomorphiC male is longer [463 (419–535)] than that in the heteromorphiC male [387–415].
