Current status: Junior synonym of Lestomerus ochropus (Stål, 1855) ( Bergroth 1892: 263 ) . Remark: The original description ( Fallou 1891: 10 ) didn’t designate the holotype and didn’t mention the number of specimens studied, therefore the single available specimen should be regarded as a syntype ( ICZN 1999 , Recommendation 73F). Villiers provided the specimen with a type label, added a printed collection label, and transferred the specimens from Fallou’s collection to the general collection.
